Raffiek Mammom, Cape Argus
“they say humour is good for the soul and those familiar with Committie’s work will know that he is good for humour…so it stands to reason that TITANIC ON ICE is good for the soul… Committie’s trademark humour is off the cuff and direct..he is performing from his heart and gut…TITANIC ON ICE is real laugh-a-second entertainment…”

Peter Tromp, Cape Times
“Committie is a venerable force of nature on the stage. As for the show, I can say there isn’t anything like it. And there isn’t a comedian like Committie either…Committie’s alter ego – the brilliant invention of Johan van der Walt makes an appearance and is worth the price of the admission alone…the jokes come thick and fast…you don’t merely enter a theatre to see Committie, you jump down a rabbit hole..”

Andrew Gilder, Cape Times
“…a perfectly hilarious way to pass an evening…”

Raffiek Mammom, Cape Argus
“…truly funny, weaving effortlessly through sequences from histrionics of film to the hysterics of stand up…it is pure innovation…taken stand up to new heights…”

Marita Teale, Die Burger
“n aan met die skreeu-snaakse Alan Committie is ‘n wyse manier om die week te begin”

“original and very funny comedy along with unbounding energy and enthusiasm make for an most entertaining evening…” ” a master of improvisation and mad cap expressions..”
